What do you consider your team’s greatest achievement? The creation of a menu of local cuisine, the more than positive feedback from many customers and the congratulations of 2 French 3-stars chefs who have stayed with us. But also the impression for our customers to live a unique adventure ... we do the staging and knowing that the customers are experiencing something that they feel is unique brings us incredible satisfaction!
What do you most value in a hotel for your own holidays? As I take few vacations, above all, I want divine comfort that will allow me to recover quickly. Otherwise when I travel for my work I try above all to be amazed!
What is one place nearby that every one of your guests should discover? The sacred temple of our village and the most beautiful rice fields of Laos in the valley
What is your dream journey? Go walking for several days in the arid steppes accompanied by my friend.
What local dish do you never tire of eating? Laap of fish and Khoua king
What motivated you to become a hotelier? My first desire was to make people travel to the places I love. I then wanted to go further and offer them additional services because I was not satisfied with what I found locally. Then gradually I began to like hotels, beautiful things etc. Make people travel and make them love the stopovers in which they sleep ...
What was your greatest extravagance in creating your hotel? I like to imagine how people are going to sleep, how they are going to move around the hotel. So there is the whole design part then the design part. Then comes the creation of activities and experiences. This is how I imagined our swimming pool, on an island surrounded by a small river and having a view of the rice fields in the distance ... I also imagined a bath fed by hot springs, this bath was done in an old water tower, which allows to have a view over 4m high while basking in hot springs ...
Where do you feel happiest on your property? In my pool enjoying a sunset...
